CIS Command
The operating system of a security company.
What It Is
Most security companies run on a spreadsheet, a phone, and a filing cabinet. CIS Command is what replaced all three at CIS Security — a complete operations platform rather than a client order form.
It carries the commercial pipeline from a service request through offer, quote and invoice; it holds the client relationships; it manages guards, attendance, incidents and deployments across sites; and it gives clients their own portal instead of a mailbox.
It was built on a multi-tenant schema from the start, which means it is resellable to other security companies with CIS Security as tenant number one — the operator, not the owner of the underlying software.
What It Does
Requests → offers → quotes → invoices
The whole commercial pipeline in one system, so a signed job and a billed job cannot drift apart.
Guard and operations management
Deployments, shifts and attendance across every active site, held against real client contracts.
Incident capture
Incidents recorded where the client relationship already lives, instead of in a separate report nobody reconciles.
Client portal
A client sees their own sites, requests and documents directly rather than asking an account manager.
Audit-logged governance
Who changed what, and when. A security company's own records have to survive scrutiny.
Multi-tenant from the schema up
Built to be operated by more than one company, with CIS Security as the first tenant rather than the only one.
How It Is Put Together
- Request
- Offer
- Quote
- Deployment
- Invoice
One pipeline from enquiry to invoice, so a signed job and a billed job cannot drift.
Built On
- React 19 + TypeScript (strict)
- Vite
- TanStack Router + TanStack Query
- Tailwind CSS v4 + shadcn/ui
- Supabase + Edge Functions
- Paddle (Merchant of Record) where billing exists
Status, Stated Plainly
Built and live. CIS Security runs its daily operations on it.
The multi-tenant layer means it can be resold to other security companies, but no second tenant is signed. That is a capability, not a customer list.
